BountyIt- Earn cash for your creativity and feedback
BountyIt is a site that provides great and constructive consumer feedback for startups, small companies, or anyone that needs it. Why does it work? Consumers get paid by providing the most useful feedback, ideas or services.
BountyIt.com is a crowdsourcing website where a company or person can receive instant feedback on a proposed new product, website design, or anything they would like some good input on. BountyIt’s web-based platform allows a company to post a “bounty” beside the feedback request and then to distribute that bounty to a sole recipient responder or divide it between responders, depending on the value of the feedback.

Clients post a self-determined amount of cash or “bounty” on the site, and solicit specific feedback from a wealth of consumer expertise. The monetary incentive encourages thoughtful opinions, so companies receive valuable information at a fraction of the cost of conventional market research.
A couple examples of how BountyIt could be used would be as follows. A person has a startup wondering what a good slogan would be. First they decide how incentivizing they want to be. They decide their slogan is worth $40. They then choose the time, and whether they want the responses to be private or public, which both have their advantages. People respond with witty or funny slogans attempting to compete for the best one over the next week or two and once the deadline comes up or the person is satisfied with one they release the bounty to the best or maybe first and second best slogan.
Founded in 2011 by Cliff Bernstein, 22, and Andrew Rosenau, 27, Rosenau says the idea came to him while he was studying patent law in law school. “Q&A websites and focus groups have their place,” he explains, “but they’re limited in scope and immediacy.” With BountyIt, consumers have a monetary incentive to provide thoughtful, targeted feedback. That very specific feedback enables companies—at a fraction of the typical market research cost—to deliver a product that satisfies consumer needs exactly. The company is already expanding into the freelance job services market, using bounties to select the most qualified candidates for freelance assignments, where it has already seen several companies and people matched.
People get rewarded for their feedback and ideas! It is way more exciting than taking a boring multiple choice survey, which then spams you for the rest of eternity of the internet. It is a safe, fun, and new way to earn some extra cash for your brain power.
